We are pleased to announce that CluedIn 2022.10 is now live and available to install from the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
At CluedIn, our goal is to help customers realize their digital transformation goals by accelerating the process of preparing data to deliver insights. Rather than hold users back by forcing them to undertake time consuming and costly practices like upfront data modelling and manual rule creation, we eliminate or automate as many of these tasks as possible.
With this latest release, CluedIn has never been a more powerful tool for realising that vision.
Here are some of the changes we are most excited to share with you:
First and foremost, we have entirely redesigned the deduplication project to be much more user-friendly. Now, complex matching rules and normalization functions can be created without writing a single line of code. There is no longer any need to redeploy or maintain code - you can build new rules yourself, test them, and easily retry things as often as you need to.
We've also made CluedIn's merge screen much more flexible. It is now possible to preview your Golden Record before creating it. That means fewer mistakes, and greater risk-free flexibility to try different combinations before merging.
Finally, we've made it easier to experiment with merges. You can now revert the merges on an entire project level (including thousands of merges) with a single button click. This empowers you to test, preview, and merge without worrying - if you make any mistakes along the way, you can revert and retry.
In summary, less time and effort spent on managing the data - more time on data value creation.
Split Records
It's now easier to unmerge records directly from the topology without additional technical support or leaving CluedIn's UI. Clicking on an Entity Topology graph node starts a workflow to reverse a merge progress.
Page templates for Entity Types
Create, use and configure layouts for entity types.
Undo Deduplication
You can now unmerge previous deduplication project merges through a selected project in the deduplication module.
Clean V2
Now you can create Clean Projects by using filters and selecting which vocabulary keys and properties you want to clean. We've also removed the 10,000 limit for this process.
Our next product release will focus on further improvements to product performance and resiliency, and feature a new Clean experience designed to foster even higher levels of data quality.
We can't wait to share all the great features and improvements that we are currently working on. For now, we hope you enjoy our latest release.
